This is probably the most important album of the legendary metal band from Portugal. Thanks to a huge concentration, the formation has moved to the next level and will be able to sit on the throne of the leading European dark metal band. "Alpha Noir" is an explosion of nine songs that show a determined and predatory band. Catchy guitar work, deeply rooted in the band's legendary thrash background, blends with the unique atmosphere of their southern black metal sound that has guided the band since their debut "Wolfheart". The special edition will include a bonus CD entitled "Omega White". This LP release is the dark twin to "Alpha Noir" and features atmospheric and catchy tracks that can be considered an homage to gothic rock exemplars such as Sisters of Mercy and Type O Negative. The two worlds - "Alpha" with brutal tracks like "Lickanthrope", the majestic title track or the epic closer "Grandstand" and "Omega" with tracks like "White Skies", the sultry "Herodisiac" or the heartbreaking "Whiteomega" - have resulted in a compact double album that introduces fans to all of the band's favourite elements. Produced by Tue Madsen and arranged by Benny Richter, "Alpha Noir" is an album that takes the world by storm. An honest account of a legendary band that never retreated into the background and waited for their style of music to become popular again, but always went their own way with their heads held high to now present a unique masterpiece.
