Acclaimed American Violin Virtuoso

Sarah Chang is an American violinist of Korean descent, recognized as one of the foremost violinists of her generation. Born on December 10, 1980, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she began playing the violin at a very young age and was admitted into the Juilliard School's pre-college division at age five. She rose to fame as a child prodigy, making her debut with the New York Philharmonic at the age of eight. Throughout her career, Chang has performed with many of the world's major orchestras and has worked with a number of esteemed conductors.
