Lamb is an English electronic music duo formed in Manchester in 1996, consisting of producer Andy Barlow and singer-songwriter Lou Rhodes. Their music is known for blending elements of trip-hop, drum and bass, jazz, and dub with Rhodes' ethereal vocals. Lamb has released several albums throughout their career, achieving critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. They are particularly noted for their hit song "Górecki" from their self-titled debut album released in 1996. After initially disbanding in 2004 following the release of their fourth album "Between Darkness and Wonder," Lamb reunited in 2009 and have since continued to record and tour. Their work is characterized by emotional intensity, innovative production techniques, and the distinctive voice of Rhodes that often delves into personal and philosophical themes.
