This 3xLP set contains the complete recordings made by The Animals between 1964 and 1965 with producer Mickie Most. The forty songs capture the band at the height of their creativity and include most of the Animals' hits, from "House of the Rising Sun" and "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" to "Bring It on Home To Me", "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place", "I'm Crying", "It's My Life" and "Boom Boom". Many of these songs are cover versions of classic R&B/rock'n'roll songs originally written by Chuck Berry, Fats Domino and other artists. The Animals produced some great songs on the album, including "I'm Mad Again" (originally by John Lee Hooker), "Worried Life Blues" and "Bury My Body". After the departure of producer Most, the group managed to maintain their standards for another year, despite losing one of rock's best organists, Alan Price. This compilation contains everything Price recorded with the band, including four previously unreleased versions and the Eric Burdon original "I'm Gonna Change The World", which did not appear on the regular LP and originally appeared on the B-side of "It's My Life".
