Energy and passion: Neil Young and Crazy Horse reunite Seven years after their last album together, "Psychedelic Pill", Crazy Horse are making music alongside Neil Young again. "Colorado" is the title of their new long player. Crazy Horse, that's Nils Lofgren, Ralph Molina and Billy Talbot in 2019. Earlier this year, the musicians rented the Clouds studio in the San Juan Mountains near Telluride in the US state of Colorado. Over the course of eleven days and nights, they recorded ten songs there, mostly live and using analogue equipment. The production of Colorado was handled by Neil Young and John Hanlon. Mixing was done at Rick Rubin's Shangri-La studio in Malibu and mastering was done by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood. With the song "Milky Way," the band introduced the first preview of the record back in August. And it's obvious: Neil Young and Crazy Horse are much more than just a team. "Colorado" perfectly captures the energy and passion of their session together. And the sound is fantastic. "Colorado" is available on CD and as a double LP with an additional 7" single. The second disc includes the bonus tracks "Rainbow Of Colors" in Neil Young's solo live version and the Crazy Horse studio song "Truth Kills".
