Now, twenty years later, Lacunca Coil have decided to re-record the songs not only in their original form, but to deconstruct them and bring them into 2022.
"It's not a reboot, a spin-off or anything like that," says lead singer Cristina Scabbia. "We just wanted to dress the songs up in 2022 and see how a guy or girl who was born twenty years ago would look pretty damn chic in 2022."
