"Blue Moves" again on vinyl In March, Elton John celebrated his 70th birthday. In 2017, he will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of his collaboration with singer-songwriter Bernie Taupin. Two good reasons to re-release classic songs by the British singer-songwriter on vinyl. "Blue Moves" is Elton John's eleventh studio album. Originally released on October 22, 1976, it was the first LPm album he released on his own label, The Rocket Record Company. "Blue Moves" reached number three on both the UK and US charts. The singles "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word", "Crazy Water" and "Bite Your Lip (Get Up And Dance)" were released. For re-release on vinyl in 2017, the album was remastered from the original analogue tapes by Bob Ludwig (Gateway Mastering) and edited by Sean Magee at Abbey Road studios.
