The Prodigy is an English electronic music group formed by Liam Howlett in 1990 in Braintree, Essex. The band's music has included a wide range of genres such as rave, hardcore techno, industrial, and breakbeat. The original lineup consisted of Liam Howlett (composer/keyboardist), Keith Flint (dancer/vocalist), Maxim (MC/vocalist), and Leeroy Thornhill (dancer). They gained immense popularity in the early to mid-1990s as part of the rave scene and were known for their electrifying live performances.
