Swedish Glam Metal Band

Swedish Erotica was a Swedish glam metal band from the late 1980s and early 1990s. They were part of the Scandinavian hard rock scene, which also included bands like Europe and Treat. The band's sound was characterized by catchy hooks, melodic guitar riffs, and anthemic choruses, typical of the hair metal genre that was popular at the time. Swedish Erotica's lineup included members who had played with other notable bands; for example, guitarist Magnus Axx played with Bai Bang. Despite their potential and the popularity of their genre during their active years, Swedish Erotica did not achieve the same level of international fame as some of their contemporaries. They released a self-titled album in 1989 which featured tracks that showcased their glam metal style. The band's career was relatively short-lived, and they disbanded in the early 1990s as musical tastes shifted away from glam metal towards grunge and alternative rock.
