Skepta, whose real name is Joseph Junior Adenuga, is a British MC, rapper, songwriter, and record producer from Tottenham, North London. He is a prominent figure in the UK grime scene and has played a significant role in bringing the genre into mainstream consciousness. Skepta began his music career in the early 2000s and became a founding member of the influential grime collective Boy Better Know, which he started with his brother JME.
