Canadian Rock Guitarist and Band

Rik Emmett is a Canadian guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, best known for his work with the rock band Triumph. After leaving Triumph in 1988, Emmett embarked on a solo career, releasing numerous albums that showcased his versatility across various genres including rock, blues, jazz, and classical. In 2016, Rik Emmett formed the project Rik Emmett & RESolution9, which brought together a new band to collaborate with him. The ensemble released an album titled "RES 9" that same year. The album features contributions from notable musicians such as Alex Lifeson of Rush and James LaBrie of Dream Theater. Throughout his career, Rik Emmett has been recognized for his guitar prowess and has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame as a member of Triumph.
