Port Isaac's Fisherman's Friends are a sea shanty group from Cornwall, England, who have gained widespread popularity for their authentic renditions of traditional maritime songs. The group originated from the small fishing village of Port Isaac and is composed of local fishermen, lifeboatmen, and coastguards. Their music career took off when they were discovered by a music industry executive during one of their informal pub performances. They signed a record deal with Universal Music in 2010 and have since released several albums.
