Michael Stein is an American musician and composer, best known as one half of the electronic band S U R V I V E and for his work on the score for the Netflix series "Stranger Things" alongside his bandmate Kyle Dixon. The duo's work on "Stranger Things" has garnered critical acclaim and has contributed significantly to the show's nostalgic 1980s aesthetic, with their music drawing from and paying homage to the era's synth-heavy film scores.
