Jacques Delacôte is a French conductor known for his work in both symphonic and operatic realms. Born on July 31, 1932, in Paris, France, he has had a distinguished career leading various orchestras around the world. Delacôte served as the principal guest conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and has also held positions with the Opera Society of Washington and the New Orleans Symphony. He has conducted at prestigious venues such as the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Royal Opera House in London.
