Canadian Disco Producer and Musician

Gino Soccio was a Canadian disco record producer and composer who became prominent in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Born on September 9, 1955, in Montreal, Quebec, he is best known for his instrumental dance hits which were influential in the disco and dance music scenes. His career took off after he produced a hit single, "The Visitors," in 1979. Following this success, Soccio released his debut album "Outline" that same year, which included the popular track "Dancer," a chart-topping hit that solidified his place in the disco genre.
