George Guest was a distinguished British choral conductor and organist, renowned for his long tenure as the director of the Choir of St John's College, Cambridge. He served in this position from 1951 to 1991, during which time he significantly raised the profile of the choir, both nationally and internationally. Under his leadership, the choir became known for its rich sound and precise musicianship, performing a wide repertoire that spanned from Renaissance to contemporary works.
