Dutch Symphonic Metal Vocalist

Floor Jansen is a Dutch singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. She joined Nightwish in 2012, initially as a touring member after the departure of their previous vocalist, Anette Olzon, but was later made a full-time member in 2013. Before her tenure with Nightwish, Jansen was the frontwoman of the symphonic metal band After Forever, which she co-founded in 1997. After Forever released several albums before disbanding in 2009. Following this, she formed the band ReVamp, which released two albums before going on hiatus due to her commitments with Nightwish.
