Def Leppard is a renowned British rock band formed in 1977 in Sheffield, England. The group is one of the leading bands in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement, although they later incorporated more elements of hard rock and glam metal into their sound. Def Leppard's career skyrocketed with the release of their third studio album, "Pyromania," in 1983, which established them as a major force in rock music. However, it was their fourth album, "Hysteria," released in 1987, that truly cemented their place in rock history. "Hysteria" spawned several hit singles, including "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and "Love Bites," and went on to sell over 20 million copies worldwide.
