British Jazz-Funk Ensemble

Citrus Sun is a project led by British guitarist Jean-Paul 'Bluey' Maunick, who is also known for his work with the band Incognito, a pioneer group in the acid jazz movement. Citrus Sun is an offshoot of Incognito, featuring some of the same musicians and sharing a similar sound that blends jazz, funk, and soul. The project allows Maunick to explore different musical avenues and collaborate with various artists. While Citrus Sun may not be as widely recognized as Incognito, it has garnered attention within the jazz and soul music communities for its smooth grooves and polished production. The albums "People Of Tomorrow," "Ride Like The Wind," and "Expansions And Visions" showcase the group's ability to craft music that appeals to fans of jazz-fusion and sophisticated R&B.
