The band has been known for its melodic and technical style of heavy metal and has been a part of the 1980s metal scene, contributing significantly to its development. The driving force behind the band, David T. Chastain, is not only a skilled guitarist but also a prolific composer and the owner of Leviathan Records, through which he has released much of his music.
