Black Light Ascension

After the forced deportation of John Murphy and dissolution of Knifeladder, Andrew Trail turned to a new approach. Black Light Ascension commenced operations August 2009. Using just a basic drum machine/ sequencer and Korg Microsampler and a bass 'guntar' the album 'Ashes' was recorded by August 2010 playing darkwave gothic rock oriented sometimes, later performing post punk and mixing old school souds (related The Sound UK for exemple). There have been 2 solo and 20 full band performances, with the added personnel on Reza (Inertia, Killing Joke) and Ben McLees (This Is Radio Silence) The album 'Ashes' is released via Hauruck! 2011.
