He played at the legendary Les Cousins folk club in London and shared a flat with future music stars like Paul Simon. Stewart's career gained significant momentum with the release of his album "Year Of The Cat" in 1976, which was produced by Alan Parsons and became a commercial success due to the title track and the single "On The Border." The follow-up album, "Time Passages," released in 1978, also achieved commercial success with its title track. Throughout his career, Al Stewart has released numerous albums and maintained a loyal fan base.
