West Coast Hip-Hop Supergroup

Westside Connection was an American hip-hop supergroup formed by Ice Cube, WC, and Mack 10. The group was active primarily in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with their debut album "Bow Down" released in 1996. The album achieved considerable success, peaking at number two on the Billboard 200 and being certified Platinum by the RIAA. Their music was known for its hard-hitting beats and lyrics that focused on gangsta rap themes, as well as addressing issues related to the West Coast hip-hop scene and rivalries with East Coast rappers. Westside Connection's second album, "Terrorist Threats," was released in 2003, further solidifying their impact on the genre. Despite their success and influence, the group disbanded after only two albums, with each member continuing to pursue solo careers in music and acting.
