Krokus is a hard rock and heavy metal band from Switzerland, formed in Solothurn in 1975. They are known for their classic rock influenced sound and have been compared to bands such as AC/DC, due to their similar style. Krokus achieved international success in the 1980s with albums like "Metal Rendez-vous" in 1980 and "Headhunter" in 1983, the latter being their most successful release, which included hits like "Screaming in the Night" and "Eat the Rich." The band's lineup has changed numerous times throughout their career, with lead vocalist Marc Storace being a consistent member during their peak years and contributing significantly to their distinctive sound. Krokus enjoyed considerable popularity in North America during the early to mid-1980s and have sold over 15 million albums worldwide. They continued to record and perform into the 21st century, releasing albums such as "Hoodoo" in 2010 and "Dirty Dynamite" in 2013. Despite experiencing several periods of hiatus and lineup changes, Krokus has maintained a loyal fan base and is recognized as one of Switzerland's most prominent rock exports.
