Gladys Knight & The Pips were a soul and R&B family music group from Atlanta, Georgia, that achieved major success from the 1960s to the 1980s. The group consisted of lead singer Gladys Knight, her brother Merald "Bubba" Knight, and their cousins Edward Patten and William Guest. They first gained recognition with their hit single "Every Beat of My Heart" in 1961. Over the years, they released several successful albums and singles, including iconic songs like "Midnight Train to Georgia," which won a Grammy Award, and "Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)."
