Multi-platinum American rock band X Ambassadors releases new album Orion, featuring hits Boom and Hey Child. The album was supposed to be released two years ago, but after the final playback the band decided not to release the album. "We were under the impression that we had already finished the new record. But when we finished it, we decided not to release it. We felt it wasn't right for us at that point. So we went back to the studio. We took quite a bit of time, even though we were basically halfway through the tour. We recorded new songs and now we're absolutely happy," comments frontman Sam Harris in an interview with news.cz. The album Orion is the band's most personal effort yet, which is reflected in the black and yellow album cover itself. "My brother, our keyboardist Casey Harris, has been blind since birth. He has about ten percent of his vision left and is best able to make out high-contrast outlines in these colors. That's why the album looks like he's getting something out of it, too. There will also be Braille on the vinyl so that even blind fans can read what's written," Harris concludes.
