Even though Wolfmother has undergone personnel changes (singer Stockdale is the only original member), the style remains the same. Wolmother surprised for the first time three years ago, their music is out of all the current musical trends, although they could perhaps be compared to the British The Darkness, but again, the irony is not there. Wolfmother have bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple as their role models and they sound like them. The album was announced by the fantastic single New Moon Rising. The album was produced by Alan Moulder, who has worked with Depeche Mode, Erasure, Nine Inch Nails, The Smashing Pumpkins and others.
