Rock band The Pretty Reckless got together two years ago and their popularity is still rising, even though this four-piece band is only now releasing their debut album. The band is often referred to as the modern-day Hole, and some see Courtney Love in frontwomanTaylor Momsen, only 16 years old (!!). The main face and soul of this badass band is the seemingly gentle blonde, American actress and model Taylor Momsen, who can be seen in the cult TV series Gossip Girl. The band most often cites Oasis, Nirvana or The Beatles as their inspiration. The album was preceded by the single Make Me Wanna Die, which also appeared on the soundtrack to the film Kick-Ass. The single became an instant hit in the UK. It dominated the official UK rock chart for six weeks. The album was produced by the experienced production duo, Kato Khandwala and Ben Phillips, who are behind the success of Paramore and My Chemical Romance.
