The New Jersey punk rock veterans are celebrating their 30th birthday this year with a new EP and an extensive world tour that will take them to Europe this fall. Since forming in 1989, The Bouncing Souls have released ten studio albums and played numerous shows in clubs, concert halls and open stages across the continent - and with almost the original lineup, save for two drummer changes in 1999 and 2013. Along with bands like NOFX and The Descendents, they brought their definition of swinging, melodic punk rock to the streets and set the stage for The Menzingers, The Flatliners and many other bands with classics like "Lean On Sheena" and "Hopeless Romantic". The eternally young East Coast punk band is still just as passionate and dedicated, most recently proving that in 2016 on their latest studio album "Simplicity". On this album, The Bouncing Souls musically returned to their raw punk roots without any pretensions. A look to the past is also a look to the future, as The Bouncing Souls continue their musical flourishes with a new six-track EP to mark the band's 30th birthday.
