Shoegaze greats Slowdive had their song "In Mind" remixed by Bandula and Reload. Bandulu takes mostly minor chords and stretches them out into a dub blizzard. Of particular note is the Reload mix by Tom Middleton and Mark Pritchard (aka Global Communication). The result is a shimmering, blissful track of down-tempo rhythm and futuristic soul. The ambient, experimental techno remixes are cut at 45 rpm, but some DJs preferred to present tracks at 33 1/3 rpm. "5 - In Mind Remixes" is now available in a limited first edition of 4,000 individually numbered copies on translucent blue and red swirl-coated vinyl.
