Death metal institution Six Feet Under presents their new album "Nightmares of the decomposed". After 2018's LP "Unburied", they finally step on the gas again and present their fans with a heavily produced work that is full of all the hallmarks of the formation! Six Feet Under will be releasing their seventeenth LP, Nightmares Of The Decomposed, via Metal Blade Records. Chris Barnes (vocals) says: "Working with my old bandmate Jack Owen again after 25 years was like coming home... to a den full of corpses. Jack's writing style and riff work on this album has inspired some of my sickest lyrics to date and kicked me hard on a creative level." Nightmares Of The Decomposed contains a dozen tracks and is an unequivocal statement that makes it clear the band is still at the top of the genre after twenty-five years in the business. In terms of dynamics, immense heaviness and uncompromisingness, it offers everything longtime fans have come to expect from Death Squadron and is a testament to hard work. In addition to Chris Barnes, the 2020 lineup includes guitarists Jack Owen and Ray Suhy, bassist Jeff Hughell and drummer Marco Pitruzzella. The album was recorded at several studios, including Criteria Studios in Miami, Florida, where AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith and other stars have recorded. Production was handled by Chris Carroll, who was also the sound engineer and took care of a great mix. Chaz Najjar / Badlands Recording in Denver, Colorado took care of the mastering of the album. The result is full of songs that sound great live and fit seamlessly among the many classics on the program, so the band can dignifiedly enjoy their fourth decade of existence.
