"Meddle" is the sixth LPm album by Pink Floyd. The album was originally released on October 30, 1971 and is generally considered to be Pink Floyd's musical evolution from psychedelic rock to art rock. The album was a great success and reached number three in the UK album chart. In the US, Meddle went double platinum. The songs were written mainly in collaboration with Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. Meddle" was recorded between January and August 1971 at Air Studios, Abbey Road Studios and Morgan Studios. Pink Floyd's legendary sixth album is finally back on vinyl Pink Floyd fans have been waiting for this album. The rock legends are gradually re-releasing all their albums on LP. Back in June 2016, the release of the band's first four albums began, followed by more albums in August. In September, the series will continue with, among other things, "Meddle". All songs on the reissue were remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plant and Bernie Grundman. Along with "Meddle", Pink Floyd also re-released "Atom Heart Mother" and "Obscured By Clouds". All reissues of the series are released on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl. The cover art is original in each case. Finally: the sixth Pink Floyd album "Meddle" is available on LP for the first time in years.
