With the "Clap Your Hands" EP, Parov Stelar continues his strategy of releasing EPs. He has released countless EPs over the past decade, most of which preceded new albums. Once again, Parov Stelar stays true to his lineage and manages to push his sound further and enrich it with new aspects. The title track "Clap Your Hands" uses vocals from Glenn Miller's "Doing the Jive" and traverses the dance floor with ease. "The Sun feat. Graham Candy" is one of the tracks that not only follows the sun, making it a perfect fit for summer, but also conveys something very unique that can best be described as a tonal mirage in the New Zealand highlands. This is where young Graham Candy comes from, and he's going to cause quite a stir with his unique voice. "The Speed Demon" and "The Duke" are carried in electronic garb with Parov Stelar's organic accents typical of the clubs of this world, showing once again how retro sound and modern electronic sounds can become a perfect symbiosis.
