The unassuming track No.13 "Apologize" from Timbaland's platinum album "Shock Value" became one of the biggest hits at the end of last year. That's a great sign not only for Timbaland's album, but especially for OneRepublic itself. They have just released their debut album, which is definitely worth it. The hit "Apologize" was recorded by Colorado band OneRepublic back in 2006, but we got to know it in Europe thanks to Timbaland's remix. On "Dreaming Out Loud", besides "Apologize", there are eleven other songs in a pop-rock vein, and the band makes excellent use of strings and piano to achieve more intimacy, to the point where they can be compared to Coldplay. The album was produced by Greg Wells, who has worked with stars such as Mika, Rufus Wainwright and Deftones. According to the band's official Myspace.com profile, OneRepublic is currently one of the most successful bands on the site with over 22 million views on their profile. The second single from this album is the track Stop and Stare.
