Michael Schenker: Temple Of Rock- Live In Europe Wersja na 2CD w standardowe wydanie. Ta konkretna edycja została wydana w Europa w wydawnictwie in-akustik dnia 30. listopada 2012.
After a very early start in his professional career at just 15, recording his first album with the Scorpions and joining UFO at 17, Michael Schenker turned his full attention to solo guitar. After that he focused more on experimentation and his musical and personal development. With outstanding musicians, friends and fans from all over the world, he now celebrates the rooftop era of handmade rock. This live recording is part of that celebration. Michael Schenker sees himself and his music as the building blocks of the big picture, the Temple Of Rock. He says, "The Temple of Rock is almost complete. The foundations were laid in the sixties by bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. The walls were built by UFO in the late seventies and of course the Scorpions, especially in the eighties, as well as many other bands, among others, and in the meantime we have already achieved the extension of the roof truss. You won't learn much new, but I'm glad to be part of this temple. It's incredible fun and a great honour to stand on stage with some of the world's best musicians and make music together. The concert was recorded in Tilburg, The Netherlands in May 2012 and already the line-up of Michael Schenker, Doogie White, Herman Rarebell, Francis Buchholz and Wayne Findley sets it apart from other previous recordings. But that in itself doesn't make it so, as the song selection more than matches the high standard and life of a guitarist with Flying-V. In addition to this complete concert, you can listen to excerpts from London's High Voltage Festival (July 2011), where Michael Voss took the microphone, and other contemporaries and friends of Michael Schenker (including his brother Rudolf, former Journey singer Jeff Scott Soto and UFO bassist Pete Way) share the stage with him. Overall, there has never been more extensive Michael Schenker material to see and hear in this quality. Review. (Audio, February 2013) , "Rocktempel contains melodic heavy rock from artists in remarkably good shape - and you should get it, depending on your wallet, in one of the variously rich sales formats." (Good Times, February/March 2013) , "This concert from Tilburg, the Netherlands, crowns his tour for his current album , "Temple Of Rock", which he co-produced with Michael Voss, with a Blu-ray in superb HD picture and sound quality."
