Andrei Korobeinikov was born on 10 July 1986 in Moscow and showed extraordinary talent at an early age. At the age of five, he began to learn the piano and won his first prize at the age of seven. Since then, he has won more than 20 national and international competitions, including the International Scriabin Competition in 2004 and the Rachmaninoff Competition in Los Angeles in 2005, where he also won the Audience Award. At the age of 19, he completed his studies at the Moscow Conservatory and received the unusual award of "Best Musician of the Decade". In the meantime, Andrei Korobeinikov has been invited to festivals and concert halls around the world as a soloist, is also a highly regarded chamber music partner and has established himself as a composer. Korobeinikov's talent is not limited to music, however: his brilliant completion of a law degree at the European University in Moscow at the age of 17 attests to the young man's exceptionally sharp intellect.
