The Elements tour boxes were originally designed specifically for the King Crimson tour, but thanks to the 2014 and 2015 editions, they have become sought after far beyond. The depth and diversity of the King Crimson archive allows for the presentation of such "alternative best of / introduction to..." albums, which offer a fascinating insight into the band's history and include rehearsal footage, new live recordings, elements of studio recordings, full songs, alternate takes and finished recordings from 1969 to 2015. Many of these are heard on CD for the first time. All King Crimson line-ups are represented on the 2-CD set. The set also includes exciting selections and hints of future King Crimson recordings. The enclosed booklet includes liner notes by co-writer Sid Smith, photos of memorabilia, complete information about the current tour, and several photos of the band and musicians.
