This year's most streamed band, multi-platinum artists and Grammy winners Imagine Dragons are releasing their fourth album Origins on November 9. The album includes the number one hit Natural and the single Zero from the film Ralph the Witch and the Internet. Origins is intended to be a sister album to the previous Evolve. "It's about finding new territory, but it's also about appreciating your roots," comments vocalist Dan Reynolds, whose bandmates are guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman. The album moves between art rock, hip-hop, pop and folk, and doesn't lack the typical Imagine Dragons signature, which are lyrics that tell of sometimes painful self-reflections that ultimately result in inspiration and uplift the soul.Origins is released 16 months after their previous album Evolve, which was certified twice platinum within a year, was nominated for a Grammy for Best Vocal Pop Album and topped the alternative radio singles charts with three singles. These include Believer (12 weeks at number one on the Alternative Radio Chart, number three on the Top 40 Radio chart), Thunder (number one single on the Top 40 chart, Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance) and Whatever It Takes (number three on the Top 40 Radio chart). Imagine Dragons are the ninth most listened to artist on Spotify.
