Hex: Hex Wersja na winylu 2LP w zremasterowane wydanie. Ta konkretna edycja została wydana w Słowacja w wydawnictwie Opus dnia 1. lipca 2022.
The five members of HEX have created an epic yet brutal work that can only be approached with a glimpse into their past. HEX was founded in 2011 in Geneva by Vincent Hänggi, Alex Muller Ramirez and Adriano Perlini. The rock trio, who had previously worked in acclaimed bands such as Equus and Commodore, began to develop the raw sound of this new project, bringing in straightforward and reworked elements. The following year, Vincent Devaud (Equus, Shelving, Forceed) and Nicola Todeschini (Shora) joined the group, adding additional guitar and bass to the instrumentation. In preparing the album, the band used a range of modern recording techniques to transform their original compositions into something new, highlighting the intense, epic and psychedelic nature of these songs. Following the departure of Adriano Perlini in 2016, Laure Betris (Cassette) joined the group, her delicate voice adding to the ensemble's enchanting sound. HEX are masters of spectacle. Their music is reminiscent of Hollywood film music of the last 40 years (the dramatic style recalls György Ligeti and John Carpenter). Despite the distorted melodies and ominous tone, which in turn evokes hazy rock, the instrumental energy of the music seems to evoke the spirit of EBM. Although the album's nocturnal mood and fascination with cyclical motifs are reminiscent of the band members' earlier work, HEX create a very special kind of magic that enchants the listener in a unique way. Behind the quasi-orchestral sound are heavy beats created by drums, sequencer and heavy guitars. From these beats, synthetic chords and ghostly incantations emerge in hallucinatory clouds. With a musical aspect similar to 4AD and the hallmark of hardcore punk, it's impossible not to be captivated by the magnetic austerity and simultaneous power of these four tracks.
Album sięga do gatunku Alternative rock, Soft Rock, Europop i Klasyka Czechosłowacka. Standard Edition Black Vinyl.
