With their forthcoming new album, which not for nothing simply bears the band's name, HELLOWEEN are opening a new chapter in their illustrious career after more than 35 years: The future of one of the most influential German metal bands in the world is now being played out together and with three vocalists - what started as a live idea was the birth of a seven-member metal alliance in a unique line-up. "HELLOWEEN", for all their musical competence, does so with a special enthusiasm - Michael Weikath describes it this way: 'It's an incredible coming together of seven musicians who, as friends or even family, are creating something together that no one would have thought possible. It's like waking up from sleep and being in the middle of an incredible dream." Returner Kai Hansen comments, "Emotionally, it was just amazing to be back in the studio with my old companions after more than 30 years! But at the same time it was a completely different experience with the 'new' guys. The collaboration of different writers and strong personalities has resulted in an album that is now a unique blend of reminiscences from all stages of the band's history. HELLOWEEN is a big part of my life and I'm excited to finally be able to celebrate the new songs live with our fans!" From a different perspective, Markus Grosskopf agrees, "For me, as one of the last 'rememberers' who played every note from the beginning, it was a fantastic experience and a very emotional process. I think you can really hear that on the album. I love it."
