The album received mostly positive reviews, with most critics praising its combination of pop and electronic music. The album debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart with 52,976 copies sold in its first week and was certified platinum by the UK Phonographic Industry. Supernature has sold one million copies worldwide. The lead single from the album, "Ooh La La", reached number four in the UK Singles Chart and became the duo's highest charting single to date. The album spawned three more singles, "Number 1", "Ride a White Horse" and "Fly Me Away". In North America, where "Number 1" was promoted as the first single, the album was released on 7 March 2006 and charted at number 138. Supernature was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2007.
