The album is an ode to the sounds of Gary's childhood, the orchestral and big band music that intrigued and inspired him to record this album. Recorded with an 80-piece orchestra, Music Played By Humans combines a variety of eclectic sounds and styles into one of the most exciting albums of the year. The album includes the previously released single "Elita," which features contributions from Michael Bublé and Colombian artist Sebastián Yatra.
