It's the comeback of the year! Europe have ended the wait and are releasing their eighth studio album on September 18, 2009! The EP of the same name has already foreshadowed what will be found on the new album: the artistry of guitar god John Norum combined with Joey Tempest's flair for catchy melodies. The result is highly melodic hard rock that proves Europe have lost none of their creative talent even after so many years in the rock business. The songs "Cherokee", "Carrie" and of course the hit single "The Final Countdown" were the cornerstones of the huge success that Europe celebrated in the 80s. With 'Last Look At Eden', Europe are looking to hit the mark again and the extremely positive reaction to the recently released EP is already showing: another take-off has been launched. 'Last Look At Eden' will be released in three versions: a jewel case, a limited digipack edition and a strictly limited and hand-signed "Collector's Edition" (CD album +7''). The Digipack and Collector's Edition each contain two different exclusive bonus tracks. The "Collector's Edition" features two bonus tracks on a deluxe 7''. From the beginning of November, Europe will present their new album live on a major tour in Germany. Known as one of the most enthusiastic touring bands in rock history, Europe will once again prove why they are Sweden's most successful hard rock export of all time.
