"Eagles Live" was the first live album by the Eagles in 1980. It includes performances from the "Hotel California" tour (1976) and "The Long Run" tour (1980). By 1980, the Eagles were on the verge of breaking up as a band, but by contract they still owed the record company an album. Although the company offered them $2 million for two new songs, the Eagles refused. The only unreleased song is a version of "Seven Bridges Road" that showcased the band's close vocal harmony, as all five members sing the song's verses a cappella.
