"Depeche Mode: Spirits In The Forest" consists of the documentary "Spirits In The Forest", directed by Anton Corbijn, and "Live Spirits", footage of the band's final two concerts of the "Global Spirit Tour" at Berlin's legendary Waldbühne. The material has never been screened, broadcast or published in its entirety anywhere. In addition to the two video discs, the package also includes two CDs of the "Live Spirits Soundtrack", a live audio recording of the performances. Hailed by Forbes magazine as "the new gold standard of concert film," the "Spirits In The Forest" package sets a new benchmark when it comes to the term "music documentary." Corbijn shows the story of six "superfans" from different parts of the world who are very different from each other - united only by their love of Depeche Mode and the influence of the legendary British band's music on their lives. In the meantime, you can watch footage from the final Berlin concert at the legendary Waldbühne (= "Forest Stage"), which was the finale of the record-breaking "Global Spirit Tour 2018". During the tour, which consisted of 115 concerts, Depeche Mode presented themselves to more than three million fans worldwide. Last November, "Ghosts in the Woods" premiered in theaters on more than 3,000 screens in nearly eighty countries. The film attracted more than 220,000 viewers and grossed over $4.5 million.
