However, Beck's car accident and the fact that Stewart was supporting Ron Wood in the band The Faces opposed this plan. Eventually, Cactus added guitarist Jim McCarthy (Detroit Wheels) and singer Rutsy Day (The Amboy Dukes) and recorded their debut, arguably the highlight of their discography. This turbo-charged boogie is a very good example of how exciting 70s hard rock can still be!
