The day he died has gone down in history as the Day the Music Died.On October 22, Buddy recorded his last song, True Love Ways, in the studio, which he dedicated to his wife. Buddy played violin and had begun experimenting with string orchestration just before his death. Years later, under the baton of Buddy's older brother and his wife, True Love Ways was released with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
