The new bestofs from South Korean boy band BTS are a phenomenon. The South Korean boy band is not only one of the busiest, but also one of the most successful bands of its generation. The seven-member combo formed in 2010 and has released ten albums to date, five of which have reached number one in the US. Less than a year after their last album "Be", the Bangtan Boys are releasing a new album in 2021: "BTS, The Best". The title reveals that "new" doesn't quite apply here, as this is a collection of their greatest hits, surpassing all of the Japanese band's previous releases since 2017. The English-language single "Dynamite" from 2020 is included as a bonus track, among others. "BTS, The Best" is the band's third compilation album in Japanese. The album also features the single "Film Out", which was released in May 2021 and reached the Top 100 of the US and UK singles chart. The song was written by BTS member Jungkook together with Iyori Shimizu, lead singer of Japanese rock trio Back Number. "BTS, The Best" will be released in a standard edition and three limited editions. In addition to the CD, they also include a Blu-ray or DVD with video clips and making-of (including Japanese and English subtitles), photo books, stickers and a photo card of the boy band.
