The Scottish singer Amy Macdonald has made a name for herself with her hits "This Is The Life" and "Mr. Rock And Roll", with which she shone about four years ago. In 2010, she released the album "A Curious Thing", on which she confirmed her position as an exceptional singer-songwriter. Now she is back with her third studio album "Life Is A Beautiful Light". The album was recorded partly at State Of The Ark studios in Richmond, and partly at Mayfield studios in Surrey. The production of the new album was handled by long-time collaborator of the mesmerising singer Pete Wilkinson, with subsequent mixing by the legendary Bob Clearmountain, who has also worked with Paul McCartney, Simple Minds, Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi. The album will contain twelve songs in the standard version, the singer chose the sprightly "Slow It Down" as the pilot single, which she presented in the world premiere on (un)lucky Friday, April 13. Already after the first notes, it is exceedingly clear that this song is simply going to be a big hit... Let's add that Amy Macdonald has sold more than four million albums to date and has a huge number of platinum and gold records to her credit, mostly for her debut. Her album "This Is The Life" has also been a great success in our country, where it has also achieved gold status...
