Flavoredtune

LC15161 Flavoredtune was founded by Michael Fetscher in 2005. The need to start his own record label resulted from the changes that had been happening within the music industry. The gap in between the requirements and ideas of the artists on one side and those of the record industry on the other had grown too wide. In the beginning Berlin and the Swabian Alb shared the homebase for Flavoredtune. There were several productions and releases with musicians from Berlin and St.Petersburg’s jazz scenes and also with musicians from Spain and England. With the White Fir Studio, Flavoredtune has had its own recording studio available on the Swabian Alb since 2013. The Studio has also produced for non-Flavoredtune purposes. Since then local and international connections have grown. There have been productions with artists from the area and all across Germany, and also from the New York jazz scene, Brazil and Australia. All releases have been published exclusively on vinyl in limited editions.
